Produttori del Barbaresco "Rio Sordo" Barbaresco Riserva 2016
Rio Sordo is a southwest-facing vineyard that is south of the town of Barbaresco. The vineyard is dominated by limestone soil, which means the tannins never become too dominant in the wines produced from this site. This vineyard was added to the repertoire in 1978, and has become a favorite for those who which to drink their wines a little bit younger, or don't have patience and open it up right away. This vineyard is characterized by zippy-finished dried berries, spice, and an elegant dark tea that is not too bitter. Benefits drinking at cellar temperature to bring out the "Pop" in the fruit.
