Zoppi Cristina Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato 2020
One of the most incredible, yet unknown varieties in Peimonte is Ruchè - pronounced ROO-kay. Why is it so incredible you ask? Because while it has floral, spice, and fruit notes, it is fruit-forward and dry at the same time – while also having a sense of freshness. All of those things make a total package that has you wanting to eat salumi for days. It can be like a still, dry version of insane Lambrusco. What else can I say - it's just a happy wine! Monferrato is where the best are from, and Zoppi Cristina is the Maestro!
